Administrative Assistant (Finance), A&R Administration
Overview
As the Administrative Assistant, A&R Administration, you will play a key role in ensuring a successful execution of the day-to-day operations of Columbia's A&R Administration department. This role allows you to dive into all aspects of the A&R Administration function, gaining experience in A&R Admin, deal analysis, and royalties. You will be successful in this role if you are well-organized, pride yourself on your attention to detail, and are eager to soak up knowledge wherever you can.
What You'll Do
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to department leadership, including, but not limited to, phone support, calendar management, scheduling, expense reports, and travel & expense management
• Maintain and distribute departmental reports and artist rosters
• Prepare and issue remix and video production agreements
• Manage the process of issuing purchase orders and processing invoices for recording and video projects
• Prepare and assist with SAG-AFTRA and AFM union filings as well as additional ad hoc reports
• Assist with Royalty Statement Review and deal analysis prep
• Partner with various internal departments to ensure successful completion of day-to-day tasks
Who You Are
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Someone with a basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Proficient in computer software applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams).
• An exceptional communicator with strong organizational and time management skills
