Administrative Assistant, Marketing & Commercial Business, US supports provide general administrative support including, but not limited to, calendar maintenance, answering phones, booking travel, contact maintenance and filing expense reports. Additional responsibilities include account reporting and partner coordination, special/ad-hoc projects as well as coordination across internal teams.

Responsibilities
Administrative / Coordinator Tasks:
• Provide general administrative support including, but not limited to, calendar maintenance, answering phones, booking travel, contact maintenance and filing expense reports
• Work closely with executives and assistants from all Sony Music labels
• Coordinate, maintain, and update account/distribution mailing lists
• Compile, generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly partner sales figures and designated reports for the department and labels
• Act as liaison between executive and a wide array of internal and external contacts
• Coordinate sales calls and meetings with partners
• All logistics for meeting including catering, audio/visual, video conference, etc.
• Process invoices and coordinate with finance to get PO#s created and invoices submitted/paid
• Keep up to date on market trends, new and emerging platforms and industry shifts
• Ad hoc projects that require compilation of information across multiple digital platforms and labels
Daily / Weekly Tasks:
• iTunes Pre-Order Reporting (Daily)
• Apple Music Breaking Playlists Reporting (Monday)
• iTunes Connect Report (Looking at long term & past 90 days)
• Apple Playlist Report (Friday)
• Playlist Position Tracking (19 playlists)
• Track Sony /non-Sony content on 26 major Apple playlists
• Spotify Playlist Tracking (3x a week)
• Sony Video Tracking Track Positioning in 5 major Spotify playlists
• Original Content Tracking (Friday)
• Competitive and Sony Video placement in all video-supported Spotify playlists
• Burn Rates (Thursday): Insight into success of track positioning in each playlist
• Release Grid (Bi-Weekly) to send to partners
• SEO tracking (Daily)
• Sales Newsletter (Weekly)
• Work to collect and reorganize label submissions
• Follow up with labels for submission
• Follow up with analytics team for updated data
• Compile newsletter & edit
• Track play listing on major Spotify playlists and create images on Adobe
• HPTO Tracking (Free & Premium, Daily)
• Weekly Sales Call
• Organize agenda and lead call each Tuesday
• Account Specific Task including:
• Ad Planning
• Playlist curation
• Preparing marketing collateral
• Social media strategy and management
• SEO R&D
• Commission / traffic analysis
• Special Projects
• Intern recruitment and management
Qualifications
• Entry level is acceptable, but some basic knowledge of music business, subscription streaming platforms, digital / social marketing strategy and play listing is required.
• Basic understanding of how to use and leverage data and associated visualization tools.
• Eagerness to learn more about the behaviors and platforms that drive growth in music subscription / consumption
• Passionate individual that enjoys working in a creative and forwarding thinking media environment.
