Full Time Job
As part of Columbia’s Digital and Content Marketing team, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Content Development, while also helping the rest of the team in with various marketing initiatives. In addition to administrative responsibilities, the successful candidate will demonstrate an equal passion for music and for cutting edge digital technologies and media.
Responsibilities
Departmental Administration & Support:
• Organize meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.
• Answering phones.
• Order and maintain music product, office supplies, and tickets for the department.
• Enter PO’s and process invoices in a timely manner.
• Compile T&E reports.
• Travel coordination.
• Maintain partner database and other shared digital team documents.
• Keep track of team equipment.
• Participate in weekly digital department and staff meetings by contributing marketing ideas and assist in keeping team abreast of upcoming deadlines.
• Maintain and track budgets.
• Distribute daily internal marketing blasts to entire label.
Reporting
• Generate weekly digital reports including stats and promotions calendar.
• In-depth campaign reporting as needed.
Web Production and Content Management
• Update label website and create weekly email blasts to subscribers.
• Coordinate posts on Columbia Records socials.
Marketing/Outreach
• Monitor Music and Tech blogs for new promotional opportunities/ideas.
Qualifications
• At least 1 year of digital marketing experience.
• Must be passionate about digital marketing and music.
• Basic HTML, photoshop, and be adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, Keynote, and Outlook.
• College (BA) degree required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and knowledge of social media platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all types of personalities.
• Strong problem solving skills, resourcefulness, self-confidence.
• Must be highly organized.
• Successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn and a demonstrated ability. to thrive in a fast paced work environment while juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
