Sony/ATV Music Publishing in Nashville is seeking to fill the position of Licensing & Income Tracking Coordinator.
The Licensing & Income Tracking Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
•Respond to license requests and general licensing inquiries
•Research and verify song and song share information
•Seek writer approval for various license requests
•Generate various license reports
•Facilitate iTunes and other DSP take-down notices
•Perform various office tasks such as copying, scanning, mailing, etc.
•Assist Licensing and Income Tracking departments with various projects
A qualified candidate must possess the following skills:
•Working knowledge of music licensing and licensing rights
•Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with multiple departments and outside contacts
•Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting various deadlines
•Highly organized and detail oriented
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong analytical ability
•High proficiency in various computer applications including MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
•Minimum of one-year music publishing or equivalent industry experience required
•Bachelor's Degree, with a focus in Music Business, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
