Sony/ATV Music Publishing is seeking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator in the Nashville office.
Job Responsibilities
*Screen telephone calls and incoming mail, publications, and other correspondence
*Oversee temporary employee timecards and ensure they are compensated accordingly
*Oversee electronic timesheet system and review of all timesheets on a weekly basis
*Ensure all literature & labor law postings are up to date and accurate
*Support the VP of Human Resources with travel requests when needed
*Maintain knowledge of labor laws and employee benefits plans and is able to answer employee questions accordingly
*Ordering supplies & stationary
*Assist with projects related to employment and recruiting practices/audits
*Organize and maintain filing system (electronic and physical files)
*Proactively identifying department needs and initiating solutions
*Compose letters, memorandums, presentation materials, etc. from verbal direction or from knowledge of organization policy and procedures in an accurate and efficient fashion
*Maintain department daily calendar, contact list, org. charts, binders, etc.
*Create/edit PowerPoint presentations
*Coordinate the recruiting and onboarding process of all new hires
*Work with department heads to identify needs and screen and provide resumes accordingly
*Coordinate Internship program (recruitment, placement, job fairs, etc.)
*Assist in organizing company perks, discounts, gratis program, etc.
*Assist in projects as needed
*Maintain highly confidential information
*Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
*College degree required
*Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all matters
*Minimum of 1-2 year(s) administrative experience preferably in Human Resources
*Strong desire to work in Human Resources
*Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
*Organized and detail-oriented
*Adaptable to any situation
*Self - Motivated and reliable
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong writing skills
*Team player with ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
*Ability to work under pressure
*Excellent telephone manner to communicate with all levels of management
*Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint
