Search for Coordinator, Commercial Music - Film & TV jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Sony/ATV Music Publishing Los Angeles is recruiting for a Coordinator level position in our Film & TV Music Group.
This position reports to the SVPs, Creative Marketing & Licensing, Film & TV. Primary responsibilities include:
Licensing:
•Negotiate deals in connection with the following media:
•Television
•Film
•On-line media
•Research rights and restrictions
•Secure necessary writer approvals
•Process synchronization licenses
•Follow-up to secure signed licenses & payments
•Special Projects as assigned
•Develop pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions for individual market segments and sales teams
•Develop, maintain and expand key customer relationships at the executive level and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base
•Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
•Write and communicate yearly evaluation reviews to all direct reports
REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
•1 - 3 years' experience in music publishing synchronization, record company master licensing or film/TV studio clearance
•Bachelor's degree preferred
Skills/Requirements:
•Ability to function in a high pressure environment and use good judgment
•Ability to prioritize and handle many projects at once
•Ability to function and create a Customer Focused Culture
•Very detail oriented with strong follow-through skills
•Excellent organizational skills
•Strong verbal/written communication skills
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
