SongWriterCamps was founded by platinum songwriters Pam Sheyne & Richard Harris. Our exclusive camps are an opportunity for songwriters and aspiring artists to meet and learn more about the songwriting craft through guided mentorship. Our mentors are a collection of experienced and successful music creatives and industry professionals who are passionate about inspiring and helping others on their unique paths. We currently offer online; Meet & Critique Workshops, Sync Camps, Teen Camps, One To One Mentoring, Boot Camps and more. We are looking for someone who is self motivated and creative who can work from home, to help us build our SWC brand and online presence through targeted and focused advertising and marketing. Minimum of 2 hours per day/12 hours minimum per week.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Social media, marketing and branding - implement a monthly schedule for social media and marketing with the company directors
• Interact with followers by communicating through social media.
• Design and content creation - create and design weekly promotional content using video and moving pictures/photos.
• Assist in the growth of SongWriterCamps brand by raising awareness through various platforms of social media.
• Conduct market research.
• Help to increase followers and subscribers on social media and
• Work from home online - minimum of 12 hours per week, (minimum of 2 hours per day).
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for full duration of the internship.
• Spring 2021 intern dates are March 24th - May 19th; must be available for full program duration.
• This position is targeted toward upperclassmen and graduate students for college credit.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Currently a college student studying one or more of the following: Marketing, Advertising, Branding, Music Business, Digital Media, Journalism, Public Relations.
* Have excellent creative and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• A positive attitude with good organizational skills.
• Candidates should have a presence on social media platforms with a proficient knowledge of social media platforms.
• Attention to detail with a creative eye for engaging graphics and adverts.
• Skilled user of Google, Adobe, Canva, Mailchimp or similar content creation tools.
• Certification or experience in Google Analytics and Facebook/Instagram/Twitter Analytics.
• Experience in Facebook & Google Ad's, marketing and audience targeting.
