JOB SUMMARY
The Staff Coordinator supports the Executive Producer in many ways, including organizing and tracking crew holds, coordinating treatments, and by providing research for projects in development. In addition, there are company-wide administrative tasks supported by this role, invoice and accounting processing, and assisting the COO in the development and implementation of company policies. This position may also require the performance of other duties as assigned by supervisors.
SAMPLE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble key crew members for projects in development and keep EP and Director aware of options
Maintain a positive and mutually beneficial working relationship with agents that represent crew, and communicate with them about each production's needs
Provide research for projects in development, as well as for archival purposes
Interface with directors regarding crew and treatments
Hire and manage freelance treatment teams, coordinate treatment timelines, and submit treatments
Proofread, edit, and pull visuals for treatments
Organize travel for directors and other key crew or executives
Identify and keep current with new crew talent and content
Bring taste and good judgment to tasks and communications
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must be a professional that is organized and responsive, able to handle quick turnarounds and pressure-filled situations
Management skills, leadership, patience, positive attitude
Interest in commercial production, advertising, and film
Troubleshooting skills (both technical and otherwise)
People skills
Excellent writing skills
Excellent phone manner
Attention to detail
Knowledge of Apple Mail, iWork package, Microsoft Office, Google Suite
