Position can be located in either New York, NY or Atlanta, GA.
We are looking for an Account Executive with experience selling IT solutions within the Entertainment market. You will be responsible for continuously prospecting and closing new business while ensuring client satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market. Experience selling to production company functional environments such as writers' rooms, and production accounting is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
• Acquire new business with accounts that have not previously, or are not currently doing business with SmartSource
• Develop a network of production company clients (both episodic and feature productions), and cultivate their loyalty with SmartSource
• Develop sales in the designated target market(s) by identifying new sales opportunities by contacting prospective customers by cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments
• Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
• Demonstrated ability to grow both breadth and depth within existing accounts in order to secure share of wallet
• Create account plans and strategies to win new business from both new as well as existing customers
• Develop and manage customer relationships for assigned accounts in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue and attain additional business
• Cultivate and convey persuasive sales messages, proposals and presentations
Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated professional sales experience, preferably with experience in the Entertainment market
• Stellar prospecting and sales skills; highly confident and polished
• Must be a strategic thinker and account seller
• Outstanding written and oral communications skills
• Effective time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilities
• Strong knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (i.e. Salesforce) is also required
• A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to continually improve performance and take it to the next level
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Ideal candidate should reside within reasonable commuting distance of New York City (Preferred) or Atlanta.
