SLATE PR, an independently-owned entertainment public relations firm specializing in talent publicity, is currently seeking an assistant to a team led by a company co-founder/partner representing high-profile clients. We are looking for a highly-driven and enthusiastic candidate with exceptional communication and writing skills, is detail-oriented and resourceful, has the ability to multi-task, and the capacity to think on his/her feet in a fast-paced environment.
Some responsibilities include:
-Monitoring and servicing press clips to clients
-Writing comprehensive itineraries and memos
-Supporting publicists in coordinating clients' travel and press-related activities
-Administrative support
-Ongoing maintenance and updating of media lists/internal documents
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree, preferably in PR or communications
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
-Proficient in Cision and other entertainment research based programs
-Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
-Strong knowledge and interest in the entertainment industry
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proven ability to anticipate needs and be resourceful
