Position Summary
The role of the Finishing Producer is to coordinate offline, online, and color sessions of various types of media production including commercial, TV, feature, and deliverables work.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
*Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Editoris and Colorists to usher work through post production pipeline, sometimes through
multiple facilities.
*Schedule and deliver multiple episodic projects, films and commercials.
*Liaise closely with Sales to adjust bids and quotes for additional work throughout the facility.
*Organize and facilitate digital asset delivery and archiving, sometimes for multiple vendors.
*Create, track revise the post schedule and work orders for all bookings, including rooms, equipment and resources.
*Use Xytech to process orders and create estimates and invoices for clients
*All other reasonable duties as assigned by the company
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
*4+ years experience in the post production sector
*Detailed knowledge of the post production process with an emphasis on Broadcast color grading, online, visual effects, CG workflows,
and some offline knowledge.
*Understanding of various types of media, file types, EDLs and delivery specifications.
*Experience managing film and television workflows.
*Proactively handles day to day Client Services issues and escalates to management when necessary.
*Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
*Experience working in a client-facing role
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Flexible and able to work within tight deadlines.
