VP, PUBLICITY - FILM & TELEVISION
The VP of Publicity will strategize and develop comprehensive film and television publicity campaigns including: national, regional, online and experiential executions. The Publicity executive will oversee various aspects of each campaign, working closely with the EVP of the division. Individual must have experience across all facets of publicity, with a heavy emphasis on digital. Additionally, this position will play a role in prestige film campaigns that cross over in the awards arena. Day-to-day, the individual in this position will be someone that can take ownership of individual film and TV campaigns, while also brainstorming and pitching new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be able to oversee multiple campaigns in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee, strategize and develop innovative film and television campaigns.
Execute all facets of the campaigns including but not limited to: filmmaker and talent management, publicity pitching, digital outreach, event execution and award strategy.
Interact and coordinate with studio, filmmakers and talent reps as needed.
Troubleshoot on all publicity issue related problems on assigned titles.
Manage additional agencies working on the projects.
Contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in film and TV publicity
Will have strong working relationships with journalists, talent reps and studios
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Required: Education: Bachelor's Degree
