VP, AWARDS - FILM & TELEVISION
The VP of Awards will strategize and develop innovative film and television awards campaigns year-round. The executive will oversee and execute all facets of the campaign. They will have experience working with guilds, awards groups and members of the press.
Exceptional communication skills at all management levels are crucial. On a daily basis, the individual in this position will be someone that can take initiative with minimal direction, have the ability to seek out information from various sources and follow through. Must be detail oriented and perform meticulously under pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to oversee multiple campaigns in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
'' Oversee, strategize and develop innovative film and television awards campaigns.
'' Execute all facets of the campaigns including but not limited to: festivals, guilds, awards press, pundits, critics groups, screenings and events.
'' Interact and coordinate with studio, filmmakers and talent reps as needed.
'' Pitch awards press, critics groups and special issues.
'' Troubleshoot on all publicity related challenges/problems on assigned titles.
'' Contribute individual creative elements to publicity/awards campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
'' Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in film publicity and awards.
'' Strong working relationships with journalists, talent reps and guilds.
'' Flexibility in their schedule to work screenings, premieres, press junkets and events.
'' Strong written and verbal communication skills.
'' Required: Bachelor's Degree.
