Leading NYC event company is seeking a highly motivated Booking Agent/Manager/Event Coordinator with experience in the entertainment/event industry.
Looking for someone to handle our new Comedy Division, experience a plus.
Sharon Klein Productions, Inc. is a full-service entertainment agency. We provide performers (Musical Artists, Comedians, Specialty Talent, etc.) and booking services for theaters, fairs, festivals, outdoor events, social engagements, corporate events and more.
Working side by side with the President of the company daily, you'll be expected to make quick decisions, multitask, and stay organized.
Responsibilities
• Manage social media platforms to incorporate regular posting and generate email marketing blasts (i.e., Constant Contact, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
• Handle booking of new events; to include negotiations and contracting.
•
Coordinate logistics and scheduling of events on the calendar.
•
Monitor and report event finances including invoicing and payment.
• Assist with managing on-site production for events as necessary.
• Able to communicate directly and handle needs of Clients, Artists, Musical Acts, Comedians and Celebrities
• Develop contracts for clients and performers
Qualifications
• Computer savvy (i.e. Outlook, Microsoft, search engines)
Excellent organization skills
•
Ability to travel and serve as point person on-site
• Excellent communication skills; including writing, proofreading, and speaking.
•
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and assignments
• Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.
• Social media proficiency.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Sales skills a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree.
• Experience in music and comedy a plus
• Familiarity with music genres, Broadway, production shows a plus
• Experience with event management a plus
