We're looking for a passionate and energetic Sales Development Representative to join our elite sales team here at SetKeeper, in Los Angeles. You will play a vital role in revolutionizing the production landscape with new and empowering technologies. You will contribute to the creation of amazing stories by the world's best creators. This is an exciting role in which you will help expand our innovative products to filmakers. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career within a changing media landscape in rapidly evolving digital world.
Responsibilities:
- Infuse the sales floor with energy and positivity
- Exceed monthly/quarterly goals for meetings, pipeline, and activity
- Prospect new leads over phone and email
- Conduct product demos to prospects according to their business needs
- Negotiate and close new business deals with studios, production companies and freelances
- Work the booth at industry tradeshows, events, and conferences
- Develop relationships with existing clients and maintain customer loyalty
- Coordinate user onboarding with our Customer Success team
- Maximize revenue and profitability
- Collect feedback from prospects and existing clients on new features/services and collaborate with our Product team to identify new opportunities
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years within film/TV industry, working on high-end productions as a Production Coordinator, Production Manager, Line Producer, 1st/2nd AD or similar positions
- Experience with production office applications (Scenechronize, SyncOnSet, SetKeeper, Final Draft, PIX System, etc.)
- Keen understanding of current production workflows for film and TV
- Be comfortable making phone calls - you define yourself as a ''hunter''
- Ability to craft highly relevant sales pitch that engage prospects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You love personal challenges and you love to work with goals
- An infectiously positive attitude
- You have strong empathy and proven capacity for creating human connections with new people
You take pride in your work, but don't take yourself too seriously
Nice to have:
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Zendesk Sell, Pipedrive, etc)
- You have a passion for technology
- Understanding of SaaS business models
- You are a self-starter who can initiate ideas
- Experience working and communicating with people remotely
