Seeking a licensing intern with the following attributes:
Responsible
Proactive

Hardworking
Has desire to work in the music industry
Photoshop friendly
Mac friendly

Proficient communicator
Has a love for music
Tasks include:
Monitor pitches from creative team to music supervisors and pull reports when needed
Occasionally run errands for all departments (merch, lunch, etc.)
Assist film/tv and ad/intl. departments with creative pitches from time to time
Participate and take notes in weekly team meetings
Edit photos using Photoshop for email blasts, website, and news items
Aid with setup for showcases/events (not on regular basis, but occasional)
Tag files, edit metadata, transcribe lyrics fro publishing dept.
Research covers for original release year and original artist
Support office manager in day-to-day tasks
Learning Outcomes:
Gain a better understanding of the music licensing world
Read a quote request
Handle a creative pitch
Proficiency in Photoshop
Learn basic steps in negotiating terms of a deal
Broaden understanding of the music business
Please note: This is an unpaid internship for school credit only. Mileage for errands is reimbursed. Interns must be enrolled in school and must provide a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
