Full Time Job
Job Title: Sr. Video Editor
Department: Productions
Reports To: Manager & Producer, Video Productions
Status: Exempt
Primary Objective: Responsible for collaboration and editing projects as assigned, with a focus on producing high quality content for the organization. Lead in production ability and as a mentor to the production team.
Essential Functions:
• Demonstrate strong editing skills that lead to compelling and visually interesting storytelling.
• Create original content from start to finish daily for the club's needs for multiple platforms (in-park, digital channels, broadcast, etc.).
• Create both short-form and long-form content that achieve the club's objectives.
• Produce content in a variety of styles and techniques, while working within the Mariners brand and style guide.
• Edit, proof and review content with a critical eye.
• Shoot, edit and produce video and motion graphics at a high level.
• Identify and execute current trends and techniques in video production.
• Consistently seek out resources, ideas and methods, to innovate in the production space and to motivate content creators.
• Collaborate with producers and peers to present, create, and execute ideas that meet the club's objectives.
• Serve as the lead production team member that collaborates with other members of the organization on highly visible and key club projects as assigned.
• Actively engage in the creative process for both post-production and live-production needs; work with all parties to achieve defined goals.
• Coordinate delivery of produced content for distribution on acceptable channels.
• Assist with the logging and archiving of video content and the overall digital asset management.
• Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. Equivalent, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education if approved by management.
• Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in non-linear video editing with Adobe Premiere and motion graphics with AfterEffects.
• Minimum 5 years of previous experience in video production including the use of video production equipment required.

• Initiate and maintain actions to attain goals, regularly monitoring progress.
Physical Activities and Working Conditions:
• Day, Evening and Holiday working hours may be required, depending on game and event schedules.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
