International Distribution Assistant/Coordinator:
Position Summary:
• General administrative duties
• Managing multiple executive schedules simultaneously
• Coordinate travel arrangements for markets and tradeshows
• Interact with international clients regarding sales and distribution
• Prepare and attend sales meetings and travel to certain markets/festivals
• Assist with international marketing coordination and creation
• Create and maintain spreadsheets for international sales, contracts and databases
• Sales/Acquisitions data entry. Preparing, updating and sending out international library avails
• Coordinate with other departments as needed
• Read scripts, screen films and write coverage
• Locate and coordinate contracts as needed
• Assist in the analysis and valuation of potential library acquisitions
• Compile international box office, comparable film charts and other research
• Assist with additional projects as needed
Required Skills, Education & Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year professional work experience or prior experience/internships in the film industry/business and/or degree in field.
• Dynamic, self-starter, team player and forward thinking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workplace products
• Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
• Strong organizational abilities, detail-oriented, and ability to manage time efficiently independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing/managing multiple deadlines at once
• Contract experience a plus
• Data software experience a plus
• Adobe software experience a plus
• Foreign languages a plus
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States [and must have a valid passport]
