Position Purpose:
The Digital Marketing Manager position is in charge of social media campaigns, visual assets, and website management. This position is also part of the production Marketing & Publicly team working with social media platforms, creating graphics, and managing photo assets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Social Media & Publicity:
- Develop content for all SAG Awards social media platforms and conceive and implement social media campaigns and special promotions.
- Create, execute and maintain social content across multiple platforms inclusive of copywriting, design, editing and publishing.
- Work with network and digital agencies on social media strategy, campaigns and visuals.
- Vet suggestions for SAG Awards Ambassadors and Influencers in conjunction with the Publicity Team.
- Build and expand SAG Awards relationships with influencers.
- Work with Publicity staff on advancing and developing partnerships with social media platforms, influencers, podcasts, and digital outlets
- Research social media trends and report on social media analytics.
- Monitor social media performance and engagement, and oversee photos/video/website posting on nominations morning and show day/night.
- Assist in servicing news releases and alerts through MailChimp as needed during off-season.
- Contribute to overall PR and Marketing strategy sessions.
Creative & Branding:
- Manage a comprehensive archive of digital assets including clips, photos, graphics, and videos.
- With Producers, develop and manage the creation of branding collateral including: style guides, logos, posters, ads, and other branded material.
- Catalog and manage all visual assets for social, marketing, nominations, telecast, and sponsors.
- Fulfill photo and SAG Awards related graphic needs for SAG-AFTRA Magazine
- Work with the SAG Awards PR and Sponsor teams on creating photo and video shot lists for SAG Awards House photographers for nominations, behind-the-scenes events, show day, and post-show use.
Web:
- Working with Awards and IT departments, manage and create visuals and special webpages (e.g. FYC & voting pages) for websites.
- Collaborate with IT to implement features for various sections of the website and to troubleshoot web-related challenges.
General
- Manage and oversee photo submissions for SAG Awards consideration.
- Research and report on life achievement candidates, host candidates, and potential presenters across social media platforms and web.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Producer or Coordinating Producer.
Required Qualifications
2 to 4 years experience with a production company, studio, network, or entertainment agency in social media management or digital marketing.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Premiere or After Effects a plus
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite, preferably on a Mac
Photography, graphic design, video and/or web design knowledge
Ability to track social media analytics
Familiarity with HTML preferred
Proficiency with the Spanish-language a plus
Working knowledge of the entertainment industry and social media practices
Must be extremely organized and detailed oriented; able to prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters proactively; and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
Able to work efficiently and independently in both remote and open office environment
Able to work under multiple managers and to ask for direction when needed
Ability to work well within highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams
Experience managing a high volume of requests and asset deliverables from different internal partners
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
