Production company seeking experienced Assistant to join our team. Whether your experience is as an EA or in a similar post, must be an extremely organized, perceptive person, know standard industry phone and scheduling etiquette, and be very familiar with the Film/TV industry power-players including writers, directors, talent and agents. Needs to be a self-starter and enjoy working in a fast paced and high-volume work environment. Ideal candidate will need to be intelligent, driven, and organized. Experience with / ability to work long hours in an office setting. Candidates without experience and adequate academic major of Film, Television, or Entertainment need not apply.
-Handle administrative needs of Producer, with a focus on any and all incoming/outgoing documents (mail, scripts, contracts, expense reports, purchase orders, etc.)
-Compiling the producer's weekend take home, including scripts, dvds, research/culture tracking binders, etc. and maintaining a weekly take home grid detailing all incoming and outgoing submissions
-High sensitivity to detail -- experience with detailed, precise note-taking
-Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner
-Roll a high volume of phone calls
-Manage calendar and send reminders
-Arranging calls/conference calls across offices
-Work on-call weekends
-Must have at least 2+ years of assistant experience.
-Must have experience handling large amounts of/various types of documents
-Previous experience as an administrative assistant, or in other related fields
-Previous experience with gathering and delivering materials
-Previous experience with research for projects and filing/organization
-Previous experience rolling calls
-Strong organizational skills
-Ability to prioritize and multitask
-Strong attention to detail
-Willingness to work long hours
