Reporting to the Virtual Production Supervisor and Department Manager, the Virtual Production Coordinator is a key member of the team with responsibilities ranging from overseeing schedules and recording clients' notes to monitoring available resources. Working alongside clients, production, and artists, we look for clear communicators that demonstrate a high level of organization and possess a proactive and positive attitude.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works closely with Production and other departments to evaluate virtual production needs for all shows and coordinates available resources to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
• Maintains an asset-tracking system and oversees on-set equipment
• Responsible for scheduling the stage for internal production and external clients
• Maintains high-level client service and confidentiality
• Ensures team members are clear on deliverables and schedules by creating and publishing shoot schedule/call sheets.
• Oversees communication across multiple departments, records client notes, and assists with supervision of sessions
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years experience in visual effects or film production industry
• Highly organized with excellent scheduling and task management skills
• Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to problem-solve effectively in a fast-changing environment
• Understands visual effects terminologies and processes
• Ability to liaise and collaborate with clients, artists, and producers
• Working experience with Shotgun (project management software) is a plus
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Office package (Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of Linux, Nuke, and other 2D/3D packages is considered an asset
