KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understands the Company's business goals and strategic vision to build and address the organization's people needs
• Develops and implements all aspects of HR infrastructure, initiatives and practices for scaling the business through continued organic and inorganic organizational growth, inclusive of a high performance, results oriented HR team
• Creates, implements and drives programs which create strong employee engagement and retention among remote, hybrid and globally dispersed teammates in close partnership with business and functional leaders
• Reviews and revises HR practices, systems, and initiatives as necessary to provide optimal data and reporting to the management teams to enable effective business decisions
• Evaluates, develops, and implements values based compensation structure, philosophy and total rewards
• Spearheads a globally conscious and locally relevant Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts across the organization to educate, promote awareness and ensure inclusive working environment across all teams
• Creates a Learning and Development strategy to support the continued growth and development of Scanline's employee base and VFX artist community
• Manages the people budget, and other financial measures of for headcount growth and HR functions
• Leads, mentors and develops the Human Resources roles and teams to strengthen and enable the function to perform effectively together in support of the overall business
• Develops, champions and models Scanline's values, builds and supports strategies to facilitate communication and change management approach at all levels to ensure clarity, context, and connectivity at all levels in close partnership with leadership
• Develops staffing strategies and implements plans and programs to attract, retains and acquires talent throughout the organization and VFX community, as well as lead effective recruiting and retention strategies, plans and initiatives for all levels within the organization
• Ensures appropriate touch points through the employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, managing, developing, transitions and terminations
• Develops, articulates and implements performance management, career development and succession programs for all levels and functions, globally to provide robust and exciting opportunities to further develop skills, and careers
• Serves as a change agent, thought leaders, and insights oriented strategic partner in setting the business strategy for Scanline through collaboration and partnership with executive leadership
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive human resources experience across multiple business functions, ideally media, creative technology, production and visual effects teams
• Experience managing globally dispersed teams across multiple sites, and excel in business acumen across highly matrixed teams and functions
• Demonstrates mastery of cross functional HR functions and experience influencing and strategically solve complex problems
• Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business
• Demonstrated experience learning and leading in a constantly changing environment
• Builds trust, collaborates and cultivates relationships across teams
• Proven experience leading complex, transformational changes
• Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
• Experience leading across global and/or matrixed organizations to scale
• Expert consulting, coaching and facilitation skills
• Experience supporting teams with disparate functional teams
