Part Time Job
What we need:
We are looking for an organized, dependable, and detail oriented team player with a strong background in bookkeeping. This person will work with electronic job folders and excel spreadsheets to update transactions in Quickbooks Online, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and communicate with our accountant, as well as our productions teams.
The job:
Approximately 15-20 hours per month, depending on projects. The work can be done from home which means that you can set your own schedule and work remotely most of the time. You will be working directly with two company executives, who are really nice and fun to be around. We are based in West Hollywood and are looking for someone fairly local because there will be an occasional need for ''in office'' meetings. Someone who is willing to help out on shoot locations from time to time is also a plus.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Data entry of A/R and A/P into QB Online version
Review invoices/bills for coding and entering into system
A/P receipt matching
Track credit card users and manage uncategorized transactions
Audit/Post monthly tenant payments
Reconciliation of monthly bank statements and credit card statements
Timely preparation of monthly financial statements
Work with CPA to provide necessary information for tax preparation
Work on location when needed to support
Requirements and Preferences:
Degree in accounting or commensurate experience (3-5 years)
Experience in show accounting for television series a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced Excel skills
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
