Position: Tours Coordinator
Reports To: Tours Manager
Department: Giants Enterprises
Status: Part-time (35 hours per week)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tours Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Tours Department. Assist in the coordination and execution of the scheduled Public, Private and Educational Tours within AT&T Park. Act as the first point of contact for Tour guests and prospective clients via phone, email and in-person.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the supervision of Tour Guides and with scheduling needs
• Responsible for checking and preparing ballpark areas for all Tour groups and communicating daily tour conditions to Tour Guides
• Oversee Educational Tour operations and work with internal departments to ensure setups are completed
• Communicate tour operations on a regular basis with appropriate internal departments
• Lead and handle daily Public and Private Tours customer service duties
• Maintain Tours hotline and ensure monthly Tours calendar is up to date
• Input and update reservation information into event booking system
• Coordinate online tours tickets inventory for all partner fulfillments
• Maintain and update various databases to ensure optimized marketing outreach
• Work with various vendors and partners to accommodate private tour group requests
• Process payments for all Tours and invoice partners on a monthly basis
• Respond to Public and Private Tour inquiries via email and phone
• Lead tours as needed
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Administration or Hospitality Management related field
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking communications skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel desired
• Must be able to work efficiently in high stress environment; requires strong decision-making abilities and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs (i.e. extended hours, weekends, nights and holidays)
