Part Time Unpaid Internship
Title: Motion Graphics Intern
Reports to: Senior Motion Graphics Designer
Department: SFG Productions/Marketing
Duration: 2019 Baseball Season (Approx. February through October)
Position Summary:
The Motion Graphics Intern is responsible for assisting the Senior Motion Graphics designer with versionizing graphics and animations for Scoreboard and other digital signage as well as helping with projects for social media and broadcast. They will have the opportunity to create unique and original graphics and animations that will be seen in AT&T Park.
Position Responsibilities:
• Versionize existing graphics and animations for various platforms around AT&T Park including but not limited to Scoreboard & LED ribbon boards
• Assist with day-of-game content graphic creation & delivery
• Create custom graphics for social media
• Assist Senior Motion Graphics Designer and marketing department with other creative tasks as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
• Currently in college pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or related field
• Master of the Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
• Working knowledge of 3D programs including Cinema 4D, Element, and Maya
• Knowledge of video codecs and basic encoding practices
• Working knowledge of broadcast equipment preferred but not required
• Familiar with baseball and the San Francisco Giants
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work during Giants home games
• Must be able to handle multiple projects at once while being efficient and receptive to feedback
