Position: Graphic Designer – Social
Reports to: Senior Director, Graphic Design
Department: Creative Services
Status: Full time; Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer – Social is responsible in creating engaging, unique and cutting edge digital content for the San Francisco Giants & Oracle Park.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creating content for digital media (Twitter/Instagram/Facebook)
• Manage the design process from concept to launch
• Ideate concepts for use in social media
• Integrate 3D elements into motion graphic productions
• Assist with photo editing and design
• Build marketing and partnership graphics for social usage
• Assist with conceptual and storytelling productions
• Ability to create new designs while working within established brand guidelines
• Create consistent, scalable design solution across all platforms
• Involvement in bi-weekly department meetings
• Stay on top of evolving social & digital trends and apply insights into creative approach
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
• Solid experience with Adobe CS Package (After Effects, Photoshop And Illustrator)
• Excellent communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of various digital medias
• Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, ability to receive constructive feedback seamlessly
• Must be able to work efficiently and independently in a fast paced environment.
• Thorough knowledge of design, the design processes and typography
• 5 years experience preferred
• Baseball knowledge a plus
• Available to work on site majority of Home games with a flexible schedule during away games and traditional off season hours
