Overview:
The eligible candidate will have the opportunity to see the day to day operations of SS&E Game Presentation first hand. Assistants have the opportunity to work directly with the San Antonio Spurs (NBA), San Antonio Rampage (AHL), and San Antonio FC (USL) in the creation, planning, and execution of all elements as they relate to Game Presentation.
This position will provide support to the Game Presentation department in tasks such as but not limited to: preparation assignments related to all home games, assist on game nights with coordination of contestants, promotions, and follow up. They will also collaborate in planning various events such as auditions, community projects, and any other special events as needed. This position is a paid seasonal position and does not guarantee employment once the season is completed.

Responsibilities:
• Assist Game Presentation with game night duties such as implementation and follow up of in-game promotions, and coordinate booking and event logistics for National Anthem performers, Color Guards, game entertainment, and game-to-game contestants.
• Collaborate with Game Presentation staff on planning, setup, and breakdown of Spurs (NBA), Rampage (AHL), and SAFC (USL) events, such as pre-game and post-game activations, auditions, and other special events.
• Work with Entertainment Teams and Mascots in preparation of community events, game day setup, and other related events.
• Execute office duties such as answering phones, archiving and tracking came content, organizing and maintaining storage areas, market research, etc.
• Observe and learn from other departments through interviewing, shadowing extra events, etc.
• Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must be available to work all Spurs, Rampage, and SAFC games from September 2019 - June 2020
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required.
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to work with other departments and external contacts.
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting. Coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Thrives in an environment where on-the-fly thinking, and implementation is needed.
• Strong teamwork, customer service, written and oral skills required.
• Detail-oriented.
• Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Game Operations experience preferred
