This is a unique opportunity to work alongside an established executive producer who has produced over 20 successful independent feature films and has nearly a dozen more in development. The candidate who holds this position will be working directly with the EP and the filmmakers and will be responsible for coordinating many of the elements required when developing a film project.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining files for each film, organizing and expanding a significant data base, producing live events, seminars and forums and (in some cases) actually programming independent films for a Los Angeles based Film Festival.
Although the candidate will essentially operate from home and will need reliable transportation, they will often have access to our penthouse office space headquartered in downtown Los Angeles.
In addition, our company is slated to shoot several independent feature films in 2019. Therefore, although the initial Development Coordinator position is currently an ''unpaid'' position, those who prove themselves to be qualified, efficient and take the initiative to bring fresh, new ideas to the table, will be the first to be considered to join our production team as paid production assistants on these films.
