Full Time Job
POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for developing architectural designs, making technological decisions and accountable from end-to-end to ensure the system infrastructure is functioning reliably. Work in a team to provide high quality support and technical expertise to the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer day-to-day operation of the organization's server environments, including virtualization
• Set technological roadmap for Windows server environment, including managing performance, security and redundancy
• Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, security controls and disaster recovery
• Ensure network performance through testing, monitoring, and statistics reporting
• Manage and enforce the implementation of systems security, backup and recovery procedures
• Make technical decisions on resolving complex issues related to windows infrastructure, and advise upper management where applicable
• Participate in the evaluation of new products and technologies to determine those that best meet business needs
• Research complex issues to find solutions, testing new software and hardware options
• Conduct feasibility studies, assess impacts on existing system configurations, and perform cost/benefit analysis to support the selection and purchase of network hardware and software.
• Ensure end-to-end to system infrastructure operations, including primary administration of Microsoft technology and storage array
• Provide second- and third-tier IT support to staff (both within IT and in other departments)
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats to be able to quickly respond or recommend course of action to IT management as threats arise
• Maintain system component inventory and related documentations of technical specifications
• Order and install new server hardware and other network devices
• Perform upgrades, monitors, troubleshoots and fixes network hardware and software problems of medium-to-high complexity
• Liaise with end-user computing support, network engineering teams and vendors to resolve network issues and support network operations, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Possess strong time and project management skills, current knowledge of IT products, standards, practices and support infrastructures.
• Self-disciplined, with good attention to detail.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed including testing, package builds and implementation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed network documentation including diagrams and procedures.
• Ability to learn technical terms sufficient to coordinate ordering and support.
• Experience creating, maintaining network documentation.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form.
• Capable of working effectively under pressure, and to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Superlative interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds both internally and externally.

• Must be available and willing to work extended hours (and/or overtime for applicable non- exempt positions) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
• Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiarity with administrating MS-Exchange
• Familiarity with administering a SAN
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies
• Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP, VoIP, SSL, IPSec, DHCP and DNS.
Certificates, licenses, and/or registrations:
• NetApp certification preferred
• VMware certification preferred
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or Engineer (MCSA/MCSE) preferred
