Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Provide support to the Union in calculations and extrapolations of residuals. Provide managerial support to Residual Contracts team members, including supervisory duties. Coordinate and support departmental leadership in implementation of all departmental initiatives and policies.

• Manage and supervise the work of the team regarding residuals calculations, extrapolations.
• Oversee the workload of team including the establishment of goals, objectives and activities.
• Handle human resources issues (staffing/terminations/promotions etc.).
• Conduct staff and individual meetings, prepare bi-annual assessments, establish and maintain performance standards.
• Conduct ongoing staff training and development.
• Interpret the various collectively bargained and promulgated SAG-AFTRA agreements and jointly set department policy on enforcement of those agreements in conjunction with the department management team.
• Handle producer inquiries and referrals regarding calculations, allocations, reporting and payment of residuals outside of the claims processes.
• Support the Legal department and Financial Assurances staff in calculations and extrapolations of residuals due.
• Support the departmental leadership throughout negotiations of the various SAG-AFTRA agreements, including attendance at wages & working conditions meetings and development of proposals.
• Attend conferences and seminars to represent the Union.
• Execute declarations and testify at arbitrations.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of task-related experience, with a minimum of two years of residuals claims/contracts experience.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Experience working in a union environment a plus.
