Role:
RYOT Films is looking for a studio operations assistant to work with senior leadership. The ideal person is detailed-oriented, a thoughtful problem solver and thrives in a fast paced environment. This role will work across RYOT Films and will primarily focus by coordinating all phases of a project to ensure its success. The position will include working with finance, production, legal, business affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payment process including setting up vendors and processing invoices through Oracle system.
- Function as internal team expert on all in-progress projects.
- Help schedule meetings and travel.
- Liaise between the development lead, producer and marketing/distribution team
throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Help teams through research in building budgets and timelines for prospective and
current projects.
- Prepare notes and next steps from project status meetings and team planning meetings.
- Ensure for leadership-facing readiness by prepping relevant team members with project
updates.
- Take on general teams tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years experience as production assistant, project manager or similar role.
- Experience in the commercial or film industry.
- Comfortable working with numbers.
- Obsessively detailed oriented, craves transparency and accuracy, and thrives
establishing process and reporting.
- Teamplayer who builds consensus and brings confidence to operate in changing
environment.
- Motivated by learning and growing; comfortable accepting feedback.
- Ability to perform multi-task work responsibilities in a time-sensitive environment.
- Excel and presentation skills such as lookup functions and advanced pivot required.
