Who we're looking for…
RWS Entertainment Group is currently seeking Scenic and Props Department Interns to serve as design, construction, clerical, and financial assistants to the scenic and props department within the company.
About the role…
Reporting to the Scenic and Prop Design team, the Scenic and Props Department Interns will assist in facilitating props and scenery logistics for theme park, cruise line and corporate event accounts. Interns will help organize show installs and be a vital asset to the production.
What's expected …
Source, shop, purchase and return props and supplies as needed by the scenic and props department.
In collaboration with the props team, organize production prep and install.
Edit, photograph and update props inventory and props care packages.
Edit and create ground plans, print graphics, and scenic designs.
Label inventory and maintain a clean work environment.
Organize inventory of props stock.
Willingness to learn theatrical props skills: basic painting, basic construction, basic Photoshop.

What you bring...
Experience or interest in the theatre or entertainment industry
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Microsoft and Mac software such as Numbers, Pages, and Excel
Motivated, loyal, passion, integrity, mission-driven, and self-directed
Great energy and positivity is a MUST
The deal...
Work three (3) full business days per week
Office hours are 10am-6pm
College credit and MetroCard or weekly stipend
Starting on or about July 9th, 2018 and ending on or about September 9th, 2018 with an option to extend
