Who we're looking for…
RWS Entertainment Group is currently seeking a Creative Producer to join our skilled and detail-oriented production and creative staff within the company.
About the role…
Reporting to the Senior Creative Producer, the Creative Producer will be responsible for producing company projects from concept through completion and will work with clients, designers and contractors to create cutting edge live entertainment that exceeds client expectations.
What's expected…
. Remain on the cutting edge of show creation and production while broadening the company's reputation as a source of high-end shows, events and experiences.
. Execute project management for theme park, cruise ship, retail, resort and corporate events as assigned.
. Oversee creation of shows and production schedules.
. Create and maintain project timelines and budgets.
. Collaborate on new show ideation and conception for the purpose of creating proposals and new content for clients.
. Lead and attend on-site production and installation for company-wide events and live entertainment.
. If needed, onsite show doctoring for all new entertainment packages being installed.
. Liaise with clients to meet their needs while respecting RWS policies and procedures.
. Oversee and communicate with performers.
. Coordinate and manage creative teams including writers, directors, choreographers, designers, technicians and other production staff to create fully realized productions.
. Vet and hire contracted positions to assist in show creation and project management.
. Manage projects effectively within a given budget.
. Oversee ongoing maintenance of final show product including creative check ins, performer management and attending site visits as needed.
. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, coworkers and clients.

What you bring…
. Minimum BFA/BA degree in theater arts, dance, arts management, stage management or comparable work experience
. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in entertainment, production, operations or management
. Experience with live show entertainment (theme park or cruise ship preferred); Production experience preferred, but not required
. A logistical AND creative mindset
. Organization and ability to look at logistical problems and come up with creative solutions as well as the ability to look at the creative process and approach it logistically
. Ability to offer creative ideas and concepts when developing new show and project ideation
. Advanced written and verbal communication skills
. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with an approachable personality
. Proficiency in Excel and MS office applications
. Ability to work independently as a decisive motivator for a creative minded staff
. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
. A flexible schedule allowing for irregular work hours and travel as needed
. Script writing, audio coordination, music direction, directing or choreography experience a plus
. Passion, integrity, energy, attention to detail and self-motivation a must
. Should have one of the following special skills and may be asked to utilize special skill as necessary: stage management, script writing, musical direction, show direction, choreography, etc
