Account Manager @ RQ - Marketing Services Agency
SUMMARY
We are RQ, a team of cultural scientists redefining how brands interact with people of influence.
We collaborate with powerhouse brands to reposition the role of relationships within the marketing mix.
RQ is looking for outgoing, self-starters that are savvy, conscientious and entrepreneurial to work at our agency. We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join the team. Working on YouTube TV and Red initiatives, the ideal candidate is a team player that brings a creative and strategic mind, experience, passion for the pop culture space, and quick thinking to a fast growing team of professionals. Experience working in a social/digital agency is a must for this role.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional service and counsel to clients
- Develop digital and social strategies based on consumer insights, trend analysis, and business objectives
- Co-create briefs with clients and manage the delivery of creative work against those briefs
- Generate ideas and actions that produce tangible business results
- Provide key insights and goals to clients and partner agencies
- Develop and track against KPIs
- Managing or guiding junior team member to manage timelines, budget compliance and billing, internal approvals, etc
- Provide consistent and clear communication with both client and internal team regarding all aspects of the account
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the client's business challenges, their competition, and their industry, and translate that knowledge into actionable opportunities for the agency to grow the account financially
- Maintain knowledge of all performance measures and budgets for client account
- Lead and/or aAssist with creation and presentation of program pitches
- Responsible for quarterly account reviews (profitability, compatibility, long-term goal
- Build and nurtures productive business relationships with vendors and other outside organizations
- Seek opportunities to advance the client relationship and build Agency business
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Must have 5+ years of agency experience with no less than 2 years supervisory experience
- Proven experience in Social/Digital agency
- Individual should be curious with an appetite to learn and teach
- Financial management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Creative thinker and self-starter
- Positive, proactive personality
- Ability to listen intently
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple programs at once, under tight deadlines
- Proven experience presenting information both orally and in writing
- Excellent communication/client facing skills and able to build trust in the relationships
- BtoC and BtoB experience recommended, but not a mandate
- Has thorough knowledge of market research, trends, competitive information, literature
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient
- Bachelor's degree
