This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
As the worldwide leader in entertainment public relations, Rogers & Cowan specializes in developing integrated marketing campaigns for entertainment, technology, and fashion/beauty clients utilizing a blend of cross promotions, product placement, special events and web site marketing. With offices in Los Angeles, New York and London, Rogers & Cowan is strategically positioned in three of the largest media centers in the world.
An internship at Rogers & Cowan is intended to provide a true learning experience for the student along with the opportunity to observe public relations professionals in a business environment. It will provide familiarity with the public relations field and with the functions of a large agency. Our program enables students to develop marketable skills in a real life professional environment.

Interns assist our publicists with day-to-day duties including research, writing copy for news releases and media alerts, coordinating photo shoots and assisting in the organization and preparation of special events for clients. Interns will also help compile media lists and participate in creative sessions.
Candidates should possess a strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field. Excellent written communication and research skills are a must; computer experience in Microsoft Office; good organizational skills and attention to details and deadlines. Enthusiastic and eager to learn; professional, ability to multi-task, flexible, courteous telephone manner, accuracy and thoroughness are especially important.
All interns must receive college credit and we must receive verification of such credit. The internship is non-paying and is limited to the course of the school semester or quarter. Scheduling is very flexible; Rogers & Cowan will accommodate the student’s school calendar. We do not provide housing assistance.
