Position Overview
Revolution Entertainment Services, located in Burbank, CA, is an entertainment payroll provider with revolutionary software solutions for the entertainment industry. We are searching for a Staff Accountant who wants to grow in our expanding Accounting department. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for health insurance invoicing and collections, accounts payable, and supporting with select treasury functions.
Essential Responsibilities
• Accurately and timely, prepare and deliver, health insurance invoices
• Accurately and timely, prepare and deliver, invoices for ACA services
• Apply payments for health insurance and ACA invoices
• Make collection calls and send out collection emails for health insurance and ACA invoices
• Reconcile client health insurance invoicing to health insurance carrier bill
• Reconcile health insurance enrollment system to health insurance carrier billing system
• Upload daily bank files, for direct deposits and ACH debits and ACH credits
• Accurately and timely pay vendors and communicate effectively with them regarding balances
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Other ad hoc projects as required

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel Skills (IF statements, Vlookup, Pivot tables, etc)
• Experience using Quickbooks preferred
• MUST be comfortable with working at a very fast paced, start up environment
