REVELE is a Los Angeles-based public relations and creative agency. We specialize in lifestyle, interior design, restaurant and hospitality brands. We are currently seeking a part time assistant (with full time potential) who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining media relationships, assisting with pitches, writing press releases, tracking media, building and maintaining press kits, social media management and ongoing media communications. Other responsibilities include responding to media requests, proactive media outreach, daily client communication, influencer relations and securing press for clients.
We are looking for a hard working individual who will be eager to go above and beyond to grow in the role and gain invaluable experience. Someone with at least 1 year of assistant or internship experience at a PR firm or creative agency is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Responding to media requests.
Proactively establishing new media contacts and maintaining relationships with editors and influencers.
Writing new pitches and press releases.
Researching and building impactful media lists.
Studying client objectives while creatively engaging the strategy.
Preparing and editing press clippings and media reports.
Updating and maintaining all client content.
Interact with owners/partners to identify unique outreach opportunities in both new and traditional media, as well as potential new business development.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree (or graduating in 2020 with internship experience) in, PR, marketing, journalism or related field.
Experience communicating with media and influencers.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work on strategy as well as day-to-day tasks.
Ability to think both creatively, strategically and outside the box.
Inquisitive and deadline-oriented with great follow up skills.
Thinking creatively to meet objectives and secure impactful coverage with both traditional and non-traditional media outlets.
Understanding of social media.
Responds well under pressure with strict deadlines.
Quick and enthusiastic learner.
