Search for Rentals & Studio Specialist jobs in Culver City-CA
ReKon Productions is seeking a Rentals & Studio Specialist who would be responsible for handling the logistics of equipment and studio rentals.
The ideal candidate is someone who is likely to know 37 different uses for a paperclip and has psychic (a la Shawn Spencer) attention to detail AND knows where those references are from. Experience in client services/relations and a working knowledge of camera, lighting and grip equipment preferred.
Responsibilities:
+Assist ReKon Productions clients with ALL rental needs by writing quotes, confirming orders, pulling outgoing equipment, and checking in incoming equipment.
+Liaise with vendors and sub-renters for any client needs beyond the resources of ReKon Productions, to create a seamless and streamlined client experience.
+Provide excellent client service throughout the rental or studio process with every incoming client and maintain longstanding relationships with all clients.
+Inspect and maintain facility and equipment in working order.
+Maintain daily contracts, rental reservations, booking documents and schedules.
+Strategically partner with external platforms (Sharegrid, Kitsplit, Splacer, Peerspace, etc.) to effectively identify growth opportunities and/or increase visibility to increase rentals.
+Identifying opportunities for business growth and new business through improvements and acquisitions.
+Contribute and maintain good client relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and production functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses in person and on the phone.
+Open and close (including final closing inspections) for studio clients, or arrange for a studio manager to be present. Able to lead viewings/tours of the studio to prospective clients.
Qualifications:
+Must have at least 1 year film/television or digital experience.
+Must be willing to do manual labor and lift up to 40 lbs.
+Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to
work well with a team.
+Strong organizational skills.
+Ability to prioritize and multitask.
+Familiar with film, video production equipment, lighting and grip gear.
+A self-motivated, proactive, creative attitude and approach to work.
+A passion and day-to-day interest in entertainment and arts.
