WHAT'S COOL ABOUT THIS JOB:
The Key Account Manager leads the effort to maintain and expand relationships with some of the leading casino gaming manufacturers. Assigned to a list of named customers, the Manager, Key Accounts is responsible for achieving sales quota tied to both booth space and media/sponsorship as well as assigned strategic account objectives.
This position is for a true relationship builder who is skilled at developing trusted partnerships with key accounts who are also the leading companies in their industry. The role requires someone who is savvy, strategic and trustworthy. Ideal candidates are intellectually curious as the more they understand their customers and their needs, the better they can serve them. They are highly creative. Always thinking out of the box to ensure their customers stand out from the crowd. They embody the consultative approach.
BRING YOUR PASSION AND EXPERTISE:
• Maintain and Strengthen key account relationships, understanding customer's business goals and strategies and use these relationships to protect our current business while growing new opportunities
• Ability and flexibility to develop sales plan to achieve client's evolving needs.
• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
• Manage multiple high profile accounts
• Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
• Possess the ability to follow through the entire sales cycle with a high attention to detail
• Proactively monitor the latest industry trends, competitive environment, sponsorship climate, the big players and main issues in order to make educated recommendations regarding sales and customer retention strategy for specific events
• Successfully adhere to all productivity standards and utilize the latest best practices and standards including inputting accurate and complete data, managing your territory, hitting daily output goals, and managing your assigned budgets
• Prepare and present formal sales presentations to assigned accounts as required.
• Identify and grow new opportunities within your territory and collaborate with the show teams to ensure and cultivate new growth with your customers
• Focus on the retention of all current and previously lapsed exhibiting customers in your territory
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
• Work closely with customer service representatives to ensure timely problem resolution
REQUIREMENTS
AND SKILLSETS:
• College
degree in a relevant field or equivalent business training or experience
• Minimum
5-10 years of strategic sales experience in a business to business sales
environment
• Experience
in delivering client-focused solutions that will resonate with core audiences
• Demonstrated
ability to communicate, present and influence at all organizational levels
including executive and C-level
• Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
• Event
industry experience preferred
• Professional
level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Travel
as required, may be extensive at times.
