The Entertainment and Media practice group is looking to hire a California licensed Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join our Century City office with broad film, new media and general entertainment transactional experience. The position offers significant opportunities in film and television finance, development, production and distribution, book publishing and entertainment industry related business matters. The successful candidate will have substantial experience on produced film and/or television projects as well as experience with the preparation, review and negotiation of acquisition, development, production, distribution and financing (debt and equity) agreements and due diligence investigations of entertainment industry assets and related matters.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage small to mid-sized matters and portions of large, complex matters, draft agreements and provide advice on intellectual property rights relevant in the industry and have strong oral, writing and organizational skills.
