The Entertainment and Media practice group is looking to hire an Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join our Century City office with a focus on music transactions. Important attributes include a broad experience working on a variety of music business transactions, including recording agreements, producer and mixer agreements, merchandising agreements, sponsorship and endorsement agreements, touring agreements, music publishing agreements and an assortment of other music business and entertainment related agreements. Experience in the purchase and/or sale of music business copyrights (master recordings and musical compositions) is a significant plus. The ability to effectively manage small to mid-sized matters and portions of large, complex matters, draft agreements and a capability to provide advice on intellectual property rights are required. Must be a licensed California attorney.
