The Sales Associate will be primarily responsible for growing visitor revenue by developing direct and indirect Midem visitor sales. Reporting to the Head of North America, he / she will also provide marketing support and help identify new clients.
Key responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support of day-to-day operations for Midem department
• Manage Database and contract entries (Salesforce and Pascom)
• Active role in lead activation programs (identifying new leads / databases to acquire to meet Midem's objectives) generation campaigns / market research for Midem
• Coordinate telesales campaigns and provide reporting as required
• Rebook and recruit labels, publishers and music tech pros to come to Midem.
• Support local communication efforts (eg e-blasts, local event management, attending industry events)
This job may be for you if…
• You have 3-5 years of experience in a sales and/or marketing office environment with a good working knowledge of database management. Must be computer savvy.
• You have a passion for music and knowledge of the music industry.
• You have the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with the Paris-based team.
• You are organized, detail oriented and able to take direction in a fast-paced environment.
Language skills: French and/or Spanish a plus
