We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized and dependable Event Lead to be the face of r.Cup for San Francisco Bay area events and venues. The Event Lead supports the on-site efforts to carry out the mission of r.Cup and implement the company's reusable cup program with unique operational and human capital management know-how.
Key Job Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as the key representative of the r.Cup brand and on-site lead at events.
Serve as primary contact for concessionaire, artist, event and/or venue managers during events.
Advance event details with venue prior to each show in coordination with r.Cup Area Director to ensure smooth event execution for r.Cup activation.
Event details include, but are not limited to: gaining knowledge of beverage mix, cup sizes, number of beverage stands, delivery details for load-in, digital signage options, security, and social media marketing coordination.
Oversee Count-In and Count-Out of r.Cup inventory and communicate information to Home Office in real time.
Monitor inventory distribution and placement during event.
Lead day-of walk-through onsite with the venue concessions and operations team.
Oversee collection bin and program signage placement ahead of each event.
Assist with onsite training for the Concessions team and Guest Services team on how to effectively run the r.Cup program and interact with guests.
Provide ongoing support for the Concessions team and Guest Services team during events via regular roaming check-ins and troubleshooting.
Deliver on-boarding and training for r.Cup event support staff ahead of each event.
Manage r.Cup support staff during events.
Perform regular concessions stand manager check-ins during the event.
Perform regular venue staff check-ins during the event.
Oversee petty cash counting, distribution and collection, if/when necessary
Oversee all troubleshooting and other duties.
Answer fan questions
**Position requires travel in and around the Northern California area.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2+ years experience working with live entertainment, logistics management, and environmental, political or progressive issue campaigns
Able to manage multiple projects at the same time and thrive when working under pressure with tight deadlines.
Experience with event management and project management
Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
Demonstrated experience with leading teams
Customer-Service Orientation
Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
Excellent organizational skills
Passionate about creating lasting, positive change
Experience speaking in front of people, energizing teams, and inspiring fans to create change
Ability to look at the big picture while handling key tactical tasks at hand
Demonstrated ability to independently think on your feet and apply ingenuity to solve problems
Type of person who always carries a refillable water bottle and coffee mug
Demonstrated tenacity in ''getting the job done''
