Ramo Law PC is looking for an Assistant to provide assistance and key organizational support to its Los Angeles legal team.
Basic Qualifications:
-2 years of administrative experience - Experience in a law firm or media company with film and/or television production a plus.
-College degree or equivalent level of experience.
-Self-starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize high-volume work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-Interacts well with all levels of personnel with ability to communicate clearly.
-Willing to take ''ownership'' of projects and think proactively.
-Excellent written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills.
-Manages assignments with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
-Detail oriented, with accurate input and proofing skills.
-Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe and Docusign.
Responsibilities:
-Answer and route incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system
-Schedule calls and meetings with clients and opposing counsel
-Manage call sheets, print reviews and calendar for legal team
-Format redlined documents
-Upload, organize, circulate and monitor documents via DocuSign
-Create and mail documents to Library of Congress such as Doc Recordings, Screenplay and MP
-Prepare and save project closing files
-Format and email or mail cease/desist and demand letters
-Review weekly mail piles with attorneys and mail or file according to instruction
-Pull team time as requested
-Occasionally arrange travel and accommodations for team
Eligibility Requirements:
-Must be available to work 9a-6p PT and willing to work in-office 3-4 times per week.
-Must submit a resume/CV to be considered.
-Must be willing to submit references and a background check.
-Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the US.
