Business Development/Sales Manager - Atlanta & Los Angeles
We are a global aerial cinematography and custom remote solutions company looking for a Business Development Manager with at least three years - ideally five years- of experience in entertainment working with above-the-line and below-the-line decision makers. The qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel.
Sales and business development experience in a relationship based account management role, a must; entertainment experience with proven and established client base also a must. To be considered you must have extensive knowledge of the local area and market in Los Angeles, CA and Atlanta, GA.
REQUIRED:
• Extensive, current relationships/network with above-the-line and below-the-line decision makers in the film/TV/commercial industry.
• 3 years minimum experience working in the Entertainment industry in a business development, sales or production role (film/TV/commercial).
• Prior experience as a cinematographer, production assistant, producer or working within an aerial cinematography environment.
• Prior experience in account management & service sales.
• Superb organization and follow-up.
• Team player who is willing to take on a variety of responsibilities (large or small) and engage in a highly collaborative work environment.
• Proven ability to research, identify and close new business.
• Experience working in highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated environments.
• Willingness to regularly travel between Los Angeles, CA and Atlanta, GA.
• Existing extensive knowledge of the local area, vendors, and entertainment industry network in Atlanta, GA.
DESIRED/PREFERRED:
• On-set experience and knowledge of appropriate etiquette.
• Experience working with a global organization.
• Camera operator and/or pilot experience (drone, heli or fixed-wing).
• General understanding of FAA and other aviation authority rules and regulations.
• Interest or background in fixed wing and/or rotorcraft aviation.
• Existing knowledge of the local area, vendors, and entertainment industry network in Los Angeles, CA, (ideal) in addition to the Atlanta requirement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Business development, sales, and client/account relations and follow-up.
• Account management, including job quoting, contract negotiations and cross-selling of services.
• Team collaboration including planning, executing and attending industry events.
• Client management: both newly developed and existing client base.
• Sales management and development including additional sales channels.
• Business development coordination with a global team including but not limited to:
o Working with the team to develop and produce marketing materials including pitch decks, displays, flyers and brochures.
o Using industry knowledge and networking to identify new potential business opportunities.
Salary - DOE; generous PTO policy and benefits. Located in beautiful offices in Los Angeles, CA and soon Atlanta, GA.
