Hi. We are PRStudio. We handle communications strategy and publicity for Social Impact and Entertainment PR clients. We work at the intersection between actors and activism.

Our Los Angeles office is seeking a publicity assistant, who also has experience as an admin to assist the company with its scheduling, and coordinating needs for both the employees and its clients.

Our clients are all passionate about their issues. It's our job to identify not only what and who to pitch but WHEN to pitch those stories. Your deep and introspective critical thinking skills will be key to the career's success. We are a small but powerful firm, and our relationships in the industry span across all top-tier media as well as with studios, networks, agencies, and their partners. HERE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have proficiency with either Cision or Muckrack to make media lists, research media, handle clips reports and alerts for monitoring

- Hands-on work experience with email calendar management and scheduling on OUTLOOK as it relates to all data calendar entry of all details for/and pertaining to any and all public relations needs

- Has experience scheduling zoom calls, preparing daily agendas for your supervisor of tasks, staying organized, and keeping everyone around them organized and on target as well.

- Lives in the Los Angeles area and is available to work red carpets, junkets etc for clients during the week and weekend.

- Public Relations major preferred but not necessary if you can write press releases, media alerts and assist with targeted pitches.

WHAT WE WILL TEACH:

- How to draft memos, itineraries, meeting notes, and agendas for client needs, should you NOT have that experience
- How to land an effective and targeted pitch to the right outlets (you must already know how to write a story/and persuasive pitch either in school, internship, or from experience in any form)
- How to in essence BE a PUBLICIST and effect change in the world
