We are seeking a bright college graduate with a Bachelors of Science with a degree in Public Relations, Advertising or Marketing. Our firm represents select A list talent with Academy Awards, Nominations and more. We do awards campaigns, film, television and theater campaigns. Our firm is a boutique, but growing quickly. This hire will be a high growth position.
This individual has impeccable grammar, writing and communication skills from a top university. Our candidate can use Cision with ease, is experienced with Photoshop, and has experience using Microsoft Outlook, as well as the entire Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and keep current the client calendar and contacts
- be tech and social media savvy using Gmail, Outlook, etc with ease
- Can take direction and be an efficient problem solver
- Assist with setting up photo shoots, interviews, press junkets and more
- Handles all media monitoring and servicing for clients using Google and other search methods
-Create and distribute mail merges
-Create and manage Cision lists
-Write pitches, media alerts, itineraries and event letters
-Assists with pitching and coordinating interviews
-Knows IMDB, Celeb Intelligence, Celebrity Datebook etc
-Has some experience in Entertainment where you know some of the talent agencies and management firms, etc
This is a fast paced position for someone who understands what working in the Entertainment Industry requires. We are looking for someone eager and excited to work in this business and will put their best foot forward to excel and thrive. Will be taking our time to find the right candidate as our goal for this person is to grow with the company. Must love entertainment, read magazines and newspapers and be culturally aware. Must know who celebs and actors are, and are familiar with IMDB etc.
