Top boutique entertainment PR firm is seeking talented administrative assistant looking to start their career in publicity.
Position needed to start in January. Position is WFH remote for the time being.
Requirements:
- Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint
- Use of PC
- Experience using Muckrack and/or Cision (or a media list software)
- Media Tracking/Daily Media Monitoring for clients either using Google or a media software such as Muckrack or TV Eye etc
- Strong writing skills to work on bios, pitches, press releases, media alerts etc
- Social Media And some graphic skills for social and for editing etc
- Experience with Canva and other programs (Vimeo, You Tube etc)
- Calendar management in Outlook, memos and itineraries
This is a high energy position. You thrive when the day goes quickly. Must have a four year degree. Comminications and or PR a plus.
You can learn quickly and take direction. Someone who loves keeping up on the issues as well as celebrity and TV and Movies a plus.
An internship or assistant position in the entertainment industry a plus.
Will have exposure to A list celebrities, red carpets, events and more.
We represent Award winning actors and advocacy/social impact clients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to heavy calendar and e-mail management, event submissions, assisting with setting up photoshoots, interviews, red carpet events. Handling memos, daily media monitoring, handling meeting notes, monthly status reports and organizing travel, film festival and junket itineraries etc. Creative tasks such as writing bios, press releases, pitch letters as well as research skills will also be required. Social media creative and technical skills a plus.
