Propper Daley, the social impact agency behind the world's leading changemakers, seeks an experienced Production Associate Manager with practical experience in production coordination and, ideally, in creative development who is passionate about making lasting social change.
This position's primary function is to manage the daily operations of production-centric projects across the agency's nonprofit, corporate, and individual clients, and appropriately leverage and manage up to Department leadership to ensure the success of the Department's growth.
This position reports to the Manager, Creative Development & Production.
Location: Los Angeles (required)
Key responsibilities include:
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT: Manage the execution of creative and production projects, including hiring and managing crews and vendors, in line with scopes, timelines, creative vision and budgets.
EXECUTION: Support the development of creative and production projects and lead the execution of all activations, which may include: video and photo production, branding development, and live and virtual events.
CRITICAL THINKING & PROBLEM SOLVING: Proactively assess the needs of the work to develop and execute work that meets client expectations, creative brief, and impact goals.
COMMUNICATION: Support and participate in communication to drive the work forward, including with internal teams, clients, partners, and vendors.
LEADERSHIP: Work to foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture for the team, clients, and partners.
You are:
A SEASONED PRODUCTION COORDINATOR: You have at least 3 years of coordinating and executing productions with teams of all sizes. You are comfortable amongst the fast-paced world of production. Unscripted production experience preferred.
A CREATIVE AND CURIOUS THINKER: You are aware of the creative process but are not necessarily required to come up with the creative on your own. For example, you should be able to review cuts, notice when things are missing and be able to take initiative before it gets elevated to the next person.
A NETWORKER: You have built a strong, reliable, and highly skilled network of vendors and partners in the creative and production fields. They are always excited to work with you, and you're always looking to bring others into your network.
A TRUSTED ADVISOR AND COMMUNICATOR: You have the ability to share information and advice with clients, colleagues and partners in a way that is clear, useful and inspires deep confidence.
FLEXIBLE AND RESPONSIVE: You work best in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced culture and remain calm and level-headed when required to change course and/or re-prioritize. You understand that working on the most pressing issues means that you have to move at the pace of current events, and you are excited to dive in whenever needed.
