The Video Partnerships team at Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter Media Group is looking for a Video Partnerships Account Manager to support and ensure the success of our video distribution partnerships. The primary function of this role is to manage the onboarding and all day to day details that go into the upkeep of our partners. You will be the main point of contact for each partnership, owning the relationships and communicating details with relevant stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to directly contribute to the success of the video business and viewership of our content.
Who we're looking for:
A detail-oriented Account Manager, with strong attention to detail and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. You will have some technical knowledge about digital video and advertising, including programmatic, and can work productively with programmatic, ad and tech ops teams to ensure positive revenue growth for each partner. We're looking for a problem-solver who can anticipate issues before they arise and take the proper steps to ensure the best possible resolution.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day to day operations and servicing of all video partnerships
• Work with Partner Development Manager on onboarding and set up of new partners, ensuring content and assets are correct, delivered, and displaying properly based on agreed upon terms and details
• Liaise between internal tech team and Connatix team to create and set up video players for partners
• Optimize relationships with publisher partners to ensure consistency and growth
• Facilitate promotion of our content with each partner and ensuring all creative assets are to spec and format
• Identify 'upsell' opportunities within existing partnerships and work with Publisher
• Development Manager to execute
• Monitor daily performance of partnerships and work with Programmatic team to make sure that revenue is optimized
• Assist Account Management team, as needed, with execution of direct sales campaigns across video partnerships
Requirements:
• 2-3 year of Partner Management or Account Management experience in digital video
• Strong attention to detail, ability to spot and monitor trends
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Technical acumen, deep understanding of digital and programmatic advertising nuances
• Ability to anticipate things before they escalate
• Ability to work well with others and across departments, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with systems like Excel, Word PowerPoint, Keynote
• General knowledge of video and media trends
